where are the number of emails in each folder

This happened years ago and I can't remember how I corrected it. None of my email folders show the number of messages in each folder.

Assuming you have received the V38 upgrade. (which is probable as you suddenly have this issue which would be caused by the disabling of the add-on that has provided this functionality since version 3

View menu (alt+V) > Layout > folder pane columns
