Hello,

I have got the Firefox Flame device with b2g 2.1 after the new v180 base rom. After flashing a rom all settings are deleted of course. Is there a way to backup personal data like sms, contacts, settings, apps and more before flashing and then restore everything on the new rom installation? i already tried the backup_restore_script: https://github.com/Mozilla-TWQA/B2G-flash-tool/blob/master/backup_restore_profile.sh but it dit not worked out well, for ex. th sms could not be restored. is there maybe a manual way with adb?

thx in advance

@sailfish009 great suggestion! Does that also backup OpenWapp?

By the way, as a quick security measure on the go, I regularly back up my contacts to the SIM card. Of course, the contacts database on the SIM card does not have all the fields that are provided by the database in the phone.
