can firefox 3.6 be installed at the same time as 2.0?

Palmr

I prefer the security of the new version for personal use however I have an online class that requires 3.6. I want to use both. Can I have both available on my laptop and choose the one I need at a given time?

I trust that you meant that you are using Firefox 20 and not Firefox two-point-Oh as you posted.

Use Firefox Portable 3.6.28, so you don't have to deal with "profiles" with two vastly different versions.

You can install Firefox 3.6.28 in its own folder and have it use its own Profile as it should not use the profile you use with Fx 20.0

Or for this one site you could use the portable Firefox 3.6.28 on a flash drive or on hard drive. It will have Profile contained within it so it has no impact on your Firefox 2.0 install.
