Persistent 'script' error on my desktop: chrome://tavgp/content/libs/include.js:595 Firefox simply freezes. Whole computer slows down and eventually freezes. AVG virus check says system is clear.

This issue can be caused by an AVG extension (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions)

Disabling the AVG Tool Bar did it for me....
