How do I get FireFox to list websites instead of taking me to a website?

Before I allowed Firefox to update itself, I used to be able to put search criteria in the URL window and it would show me websites that meet the criteria. The URL window is where you would see www.mozilla.com. Now it takes me to the website it THINKS I want to go to which is usually wrong.

I know I could just put the criteria in the search window but it's easier to put it the URL window. How to I get FireFox to work how it used to?
