Since I updated Firefox to 146.01, it no longer displays background colors behind buttons or websites. For instance, when attempting to play NYTimes Wordle, which highlights the letters in different colors to indicate whether they are 1) the correct letter in the correct place - Green, 2) the correct letter but not in the correct place - Yellow/orange, etc., there is absolutely no color at all behind the letters with the new FireFox update. I've attached a screenshot showing the exact same screen on Firefox next to Chrome (and I HATE to sue Chrome).

It also happens outside of the NYTimes website, where it doesn't display buttons (just the word on the buttons), or ads (not terribly upset about that), etc.

Importantly, it won't display checkbox selections, etc.

This keeps forcing me to have to open Chrome to complete what I'm trying to do.

Please fix this ASAP so I don't have to open Chrome anymore.

Thanks!

SueEllen Lawton

Hi, I don't think it's since the update. It looks like you've selected some contrast theme. Try to go to Settings and set Website contrast to OFF.
