You appear to have the old eol macOS 10.12

Firefox 116.0 and later requires macOS 10.15 (ten.fifteen) or later to run. So if you cannot upgrade your macOS to 10.15 or later then the most current version of Firefox you can run is Firefox 115 ESR.
