After the last update a couple days ago Firefox does not come up correctly. Search doesn't work. Duck Duck Go seems to be the default search engine and Google is missing from the selection list when the left mouse button is pushed. I really don't know how to describe the problem. It does come up in troubleshoot mode more-or-less correctly. Something odd happened during the update. A screen came up with some sort of message about having run into some sort of odd problem and that it would have to stop and restart the process, which it did. Hasn't worked properly since.

This morning there was an update done on Firefox, I thought it might have fixed the recurring problem with Firefox just not responding. NO fix!! Firefox is still not working.

As the updated Firefox had no Bookmark bar and no working address or search fields nor was the menu 'button' working I remembered that somewhere in the help was a suggestion to download the Installer and run it again. I did this on another computer and transferred the file to a USB memory stick and run it on the offending machine: this fixed the incomplete and Firefox is now working correctly.
