THIS DOES NOT SOUND LIKE AN ISSUE WITH FIREFOX BUT THE WAY YOU ARE DESCRIBING AN ISSUE WITH THE WIFI MAKES ME THINK IT COULD BE YOUR ROUTER.

I RECOMMEND THAT YOU CONTACT YOUR INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER WHO MAY BE ABLE TO HELP.
