how to edit pdf in Firefox

Instructions begin with "Click on the three horizontal lines and select OPTIONS." My updated version of Firefox does not have OPTIONS. Reinstalling Firefox did not solve the problem. In OPTIONS, PDF is supposed to be in the list. Opening a pdf file in Firefox did not cause an edit option to appear.

It has not been Options/Preferences for a long time now as it is Settings.

Settings does not offer a way to pdf editing -- or to options. The add-ons path was a blind alley.

Download the file. Click on the download menu bar icon (down arrow over horizontal bar) on the right side of the menu bar). CLICK the file folder icon next to the downloaded PDF file name. In the "downloads" window that opens, right-click the file name. Hover your cursor on OPEN WITH and select Firefox.
