Does anybody know when Ubuntu will get an automatic update to Firefox 103.0.2? My Firefox is still on version 103.0. I see that I can build version 103.0.2, but I'm not sure how to port over my old data to the new installation (extension settings, history, etc). Is it just a matter of copying over the files in the directory specified in Troubleshooting Information/Application Directory? Does anybody know when Firefox will allow me to just automatically update (without having to install another version at a different location) for Ubuntu?

Thank you!

Hi

If you are using the Snap build, it is available right now - I am using the default Release Snap version of Firefox that is installed in Xubuntu 22.04.

You should be able to update without moving your data - you should receive a notification that the new version is available.
