From Firefox 53 planned for April 2017, Windows XP/Vista/Server 2008 are no longer supported. These users should migrate to ESR 52 once available (planned for March 2017).

So Firefox 52.9.0esr was the last to still support the old Windows server 2008 that was based on Windows Vista.

Though if you do have Windows Server 2008 R2 which is built on Windows NT 6.1 ? then you may be able to run Fx 53.0 and later.
