None that I know of, unfortunately.

If you need to have different settings for accounts, in the case of global options, create separate profiles and add accounts to each one. Help/Troubleshooting, about:profiles, to create and manage profiles.

Thanks for the idea sfhowes. The user is a complete technophobe. 2 instances of thunderbird would be too much for them to cope with. ;-). Cheers, Graeme
