Firefox Extensions Keep Getting Disabled (Corrupted Files )

Apparently randomly, about every 2-7 days, all my extensions become disabled with no option to enable them again. I delete the compatibility.ini and all extensions.* files and the extensions are then enabled again.

I have tried creating new profiles, but it keeps happening. I have scanned for viruses. I have the latest versions of the extensions.

I sometimes *need* to run Firefox ESR v52.8.1 (64-bit) in parallel. I wonder if that could be the cause..?
