Well the situation is that I have downloaded them already. If I unsubscribe them and delete the folder, they are deleted online as well and I don't want that to happen.

I dont want to keep it visible! I want to hide it! But unsubscribing does NOT make the folder disappear in the Thunderbird client. Even when unsubscribed, deleting the folder results in a deletion from the online client. I tested this, that is why I am asking this question.
