Are you using Thunderbird on the old computer? Will you be using Thunderbird on the new computer?

If "yes" to both of these the best thing to do might be to transfer your profile.

If you're moving your address book between different email clients then the most general solution is to export each address book to a CSV file and import those CSV files to the new program.
