How do I find whether server is POP3 or IMPT and how do I setup email on Android phone?
Trying to setup email on my Android smart phone, but questions asked that I can't answer, i.e., do I want incoming email or outgoing email (want both) ? is the server POP3 or IMPT (?) ? what are the port #S? SSL enabled?

You ask your provider if they provide POP, IMAP or both. A Google search for your providers email settings usually returns what you need.
Thunderbird does not run on phones. Most phones come with an email client installed but that has nothing to do with Thunderbird.
