Change default behaviour for replying to mailing list messages

The release notes for Thunderbird 52 state, inter alia, that

"When replying to a mailing list, reply will be sent to address in From header ignoring Reply-to header"

This is clearly suboptimal behaviour, and I'm assuming that it will be fixed in a later release. In the meantime, though, how can I override this default and configure TB to honour Reply-to under all circumstances?

This appears to have fixed one bug by introducing another. The correct behaviour should be that the Reply-to is honoured by default, but the user has the option to override it.
