FF is running even though it is shut down

HI, got win 10, now problems.ff will not open. it says still running. Have removed it from taskmaster but same error message. Big hammer did not work! Even deleting ff and downloading latest win 10 proof version does not work. Opened profile, means nothing to me. Help
