Hi xxof,

Fortunately this is easy to fix. :) Here's how: 

   Open Firefox and tap the menu button on your phone
   Tap Settings
   Tap Developer Tools and untick the box next to Paint flashing

Thank you!!! I haven't been using Firefox because of this. I never turned that on, so I don't know how it got enabled, and that option wasn't there when it first happened. Plus, last time I searched I couldn't find anything on it.
