Firefox 35 (Release build) won't download

The release build of Firefox 35 won't download, the automatic prompt to begin the download simply fails to begin downloading it, same when I go to the About page (Help > About Firefox). I am not participating in the Beta channel. Is the update notification of Firefox 35 in error/mistakenly done ahead of schedule?
