Hi all; one of my favourites is constantly freezing while loading, all other sites work fine.
it's http://www.universetoday.com/ on my Advent Vega Tablet, using Firefox for Android ver. 25.0.1 This is the only page that freezes (rarely at the 1stg page, but very often if you go to the 2nd, 3rd... page and open one of the stories there. Since this don't happen on other pages / websites, I guess it's in the <Universe Today> site. This does not happen if I use the Android browser.

Hi ahnasr, the problem is solved ;-) I found ver. 30.1 on the Internet (Modzilla server: 29.01) and, after downloading & installing, the problem of a "freezing site" seems to be solved... worked fine yesterday all evening! This ticket can be closed then ;-)
Gracias, thanks a lot.

Hi!
I highly suggest visiting the Google Play Store and applying the updates Mozilla has released to see if you still encounter this issue.
Thanks!
Thanks Robot for this message ;-) As I said: I use an Advent Vega and this tablet is not supported by the Google Play Store (GPS). They always ask me for my mobile number and this tablet has none ;-( it would be better if an update can be loaded automatically (like on the PCs). It's always a struggle to find apps elsewhere than the GPS. But I will try to do so.
Hello,
Try downloading the latest version from the mozilla ftp. Follow this link and click on "latest" and get the one that suits you :-)
https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mobile/releases/
Hope that helps
I'm definitely not a robot, I'm a human being. :)
Please give the post above by ahnasr a try. If that doesn't work, we'll keep looking into it for you.
My apologies, Andrew, but the email stated: "This email is automatically sent by a robot. "
As I said before: my tablet is "not welcome" at the Apple store / GPS because I've been asked for a phone number and a tablet... has none ;-) However... I will check the Internet for a new version of Firefox. Thanks a lot ;-)
You don't need Google Play Store to install from the apk that you download from the mozilla server.
Have a nice day
