cannot open sun java emails using nightly
I use Sun Java from Sun Communications Express for my email. While I can log into the account using Nightly and everything is fine in the inbox screen when I try to open a new message I get the following error message: JavaScript Error https://myce.XXXX.XX/uwc/webmail/msg_fs_lr.jsp?&rev=3&security=false&lang=en-us&popupLevel=undefined&cal=1, Line 483 TypeError: window.document.captureEvents is not a function
If I open the same message again I do not get the above error message just 'undefined'.
To protest my privacy I've put X's in where my email account name is listed.

This is purely related to the code of the website you are trying to access. Mind pulling this question on the website you are having problem with.
It opens fine in Internet Explorer and older versions of Firefox which leads me to believe it's a Nightly/Windows 8 compatability issue?
How about switching to a compatible version say FF22,

Thank you but isn't Firefox 22 for Windows 8 Nightly? According to the instructions I followed on Mozilla support page when I went to download it initially that's where I was directed. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-install-windows-8-metro-style-firefox which I found from here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/does-firefox-work-windows-8-and-windows-rt
Yeah it is. But Nightly releases are the beta versions or you can say testing purpose so you can drop by to a more stable version from the link i provided to get most of the things fixed. You can always switch back when the Windows 8 Metro Style Firefox gets available in stable release.
