How do I get the bookmarks icon to be on the navigation toolbar when the bookmarks toolbar is open?

I want the bookmarks icon to be on my navigation toolbar, at the left. I have moved in there in customize mode, and it is there when I don't have the bookmarks toolbar open. But, I want to have my bookmarks toolbar open, because I click on those bookmarks all the time. I just want the bookmark icon to stay where it is in the navigation toolbar while I have the bookmarks toolbar open.

Hi,

When the bookmarks toolbar is enabled, the bookmarks icon jumps to the right end of the bookmarks toolbar.

That particular Bookmarks button (with the little down arrow) has special properties that tie it to the Bookmarks Toolbar being shown or being hidden. No other toolbar buttons work like that, when the Bookmarks Toolbar is showing it will be on the Bookmarks Toolbar, on the right-side, or the left-side if you move it to the left of the Bookmarks Toolbar Items.
