Stop automatic adding to my contact list?

When I get an e-mail that e-mail address is automatically added to my contact list. I can not find how to stop it from being added to my e-mail list. I have found a area where I un-click the automatic add on but that does not work.

Firefox doesn't do email, it's strictly a web browser.

If you are using Firefox to access your mail, you are using "web-mail". You need to seek support from your service provider or a forum for that service.
