after upgrading to 4 I have a split screen on my home page

I have been using Firefox for a long time and when I upgraded to 4.0 my home page has a split screen with my home page on one side and chase bank on the other. How do I fix this?

Reset your Homepage, without the Sidebar open.

I have tried this and it did not work. I have windows 7 it may work for XP
