I cannot connect with sound or video on skype

We used to use skype. Last Thursday we could not get on. We have downloaded the program many times. Still cannot get on. Today I could text, but not see or hear. The other caller said they got an error message that we did not have the newest version and could not connect. We have only downloaded the newest version. What is the problem?

Try getting help with that problem in a Skype support forum, as it is not related to Firefox support.
