I have downloaded Firefox 4 and it started in safe mode and i don't know what to do

I started my previous version of Firefox normally and clicked the download Firefox 4.01 box. It started to download immediately and when it completed Firefox 4.0 opened with the following message: 

           OFFLINE MODE
  Firefox is currently in offline mode and can't browse the Web.  Iused the instructions for the Computer Run option and firefox started just as before

You are not in the Safe Mode, you are in the Offline Mode. I don't know what OS are you on since it doesn't show in your system details:

If you see a Firefox icon, click on it and then go to:

File > UNCHECK the Offline Mode

If you have a Menu Bar instead, do the same.
