I turned on Private Browsing to see how it worked but now it is always on and I can't turn it off. When I go to the menus it says Private Browsing is not turned on but it is. Help!!!???

Does it say Private Browsing is already running?

  • You enter Private Browsing - Use Firefox without saving history mode if you select: Tools > Options > Privacy > History: Firefox will: "Never Remember History"
  • To see all History and Cookie settings, choose: Tools > Options > Privacy, choose the setting Firefox will: Use custom settings for history
  • Uncheck: [ ] "Automatically start Firefox in a private browsing session"
