There's a missing plug in..while trying to install the flash adobe reader ,its stated the conflicting while the firefox are open??

It happened firefox crashed so often when i was trying to open a PDF file and the article explains how to clear the Firefox cache in order to troubleshoot Yahoo! Messenger for the Web. After follow the step given,..updating firefox,run java runtime enviroment thing are okay but problem occurred when initializing the adobe flash player.and it said the conflicting would resolved after the firefox closed.What actually does it means??

Adobe needs to install a plugin for Firefox, and it can't install it while Firefox is running. Simply close Firefox and wait a minute or two, and then proceed with installing the Adobe Reader program.
