Is it possible to disable the "holding down left mouse button scrolling" functionality in Firefox?
For example, if one moves their mouse button close to the bottom edge of their browser window, holds down the left mouse button then drags the mouse further down to the edge of the browser window, it will begin to scroll downward. The same thing happens on the right edge of the window if there's a horizontal scroll bar for the page.
Does anyone know of a way to disable this? Is there something in about:config maybe? Thanks.

This all sounds like a standard system behavior (click+drag in any spot does text selection and scrolls the viewport; also if you click or hold anywhere in the scrollbars they will just scroll, that's what they're made to do).
If you need to disable that as a form of accessibility preference, look into the options you operating system gives you to adjust click or drag pointer behaviors or other motor accommodations.
