Apple has always been engaged in a Social Engineering Campaign. They don't want you messing around with the settings just like MICROSOFT no longer allows any of the Customization that We're used to
Not Sure, how this has anything to do with Mozilla, though?
Never ever put your Verbatim email in message boards like this, at LEAST use (@) or Similar, to obfuscate or you're sure to get TONS of Spam.
