Application Links dont auto close tab
When opening an application links the new tab will stay open. When using edge or chrome they auto close the tab. I rather use firefox but this is really annoying. Any way to fix this issue?

when i say a new tab i mean it opens a blank tab. I press a button on a website to trigger an action in a game but the blank tab doesnt close automatically. Hope that helps understand my issue.
