Thunderbird 91.3.2 (64 bits)Windows 10

Stopped sending notes, message "cannot reach smtp server" Checked setting and found port is 465 . Corrected to 587 as instructed by provider. Setting changes without my intervention to 465!!!

ALso: provider instruct to use TLS, but choice is STARTTLS or SSL/TLS.
