Ever since about a week ago WidevineCdm has been crashing on Netflix/Amazon Video/Hulu and I'm not sure how to fix it. I've tried refreshing, trying in safemode, redownloading firefox, making a new profile, and turning on/off DRM but nothing has worked. I am able to stream on Microsoft Edge and have yet to try Chrome, but this does seem like a browser side issue. Is there a way to redownload widevinecdm, or do I have to wait it out for an update. This issue doesn't seem to be happening with my other friends so it might be an issue with a corrupt file, but I don't know how to solve this as I have already uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox.

I would love to stay with Firefox, but as of now it is very frustrating to not be able to access streaming websites.

Widevine is installed in the gmp-widevinecdm folder in the Firefox profile folder.

You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.
