Hi,. as stated above the Yahoo.com homepage and associated webpages overload the CPU on my PC... other webpages do not. Apologies for using yahoo - i have an old but important email account with it.

Hi arnold_martelli, There are a lot of autoplay videos on the homepage which load up simultaneously along with everything else.
Check that your graphics drivers are up to date and take a look at Firefox's performance settings
Alternatively, if you only use Yahoo for your mail account you can go straight to the log in: Yahoo - login
