Just updated to Firefox 58 and everything keeps hanging, like typing, scrolling and clicking on links.

Just updated to Firefox 58 and everything keeps hanging, like typing, scrolling and clicking on links. That says it all. Firefox in now almost unusable. The hanging last from 5 to 10 seconds. I have tried some of the suggested remedies but they have not worked.

hi, thanks for reporting this. can you try if this change can workaround the performance problem?: go to the firefox menu ≡ > options > privacy & security panel and under permissions check the setting to prevent accessibility services from accessing your browser.
