I already contributed, please stop putting up that page asking for a contribution!
I contributed the other day, yet every time I open FF I get another page asking for a contribution.
It is very annoying. Please fix it?
Thanks

I don't think the information that you donated through the payment service is shared back to your browser, so most likely you keep on seeing the message whether you donate or not.
Have you already tried closing the message? When you mouse over the donation message, there is a small "X" close button (screen shot attached). It may take a couple tries to clear it, but that should be remembered for some period of time. If you are closing the last Firefox window, ending your session, try leaving one open to extend your session in case the "X" only works for the current session.
Hi
I don't always want to leave the browser open, or when closing for the night.
I donated a $3 to Wikipedia, and they turned that page right off for me, so thought surely Mozilla could do that too.
Oh well, thanks for the help.
Wikipedia donations solicitation program ended a few days ago, maybe the disappearance of that message after you made a donation was coincidental? I can't see Wikipedia 'tracking' something like that and in the process running afoul of do-not-track principles that have become popular recently; especially when a secure payment system is involved.
Clicking the X that Jefferson circled in his screenshot has worked for me to override that message 'snippet' from appearing on the default homepage; it hasn't come back. And I have tested that X with multiple Profiles.
