I downloaded Firfox several weeks ago on my new laptop. Today whenever I try to open Firefox, It redirects to a search engine called "THe Smart Search" at www.smartsearch.net. I ran and reran Norton Power Eraser. It did not detect the hijacker. I deleteed firefox and then redownloaded it today. Immediately, firefox was redirected to Smart Search. Is Firefox associated with Smart Search? if not, do you have any suggestions how to get my Firefox back again?
