In other versions of Firefox, I was able to go from one tab to another using my mouse. Now I have to "Ctrl-Tab" to go to the tabs to the right, and "Ctrl-Shift-Tab" to move to tabs to the left.

You should be able to scroll the tabs if you have more open than fit in the current browser window by clicking the scroll buttons or by rotating the mouse wheel with the cursor on the Tab bar.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

Note that you can also use Ctrl+Page Up and Ctrl+Page Down or set focus to the Tab bar via Ctrl+L (focuses the location bar) and several presses of the Tab key until you see a focus ring on the current tab and use the Left and Right cursor keys.
