History list only 7 days ?

I would need history of at least 6 months 7 days history is of limited use And also I would like to have a search result that shows all the days I visited that site F ex the site "intelligent cats" I visited perhaps on 5 different dates, then i want to see that listed 5 times

Hi minkowski, Thank you for your question. I understand that you want more than 7 days of your history to appear. All of the history options in Firefox appear and are explained https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/settings-privacy-browsing-history-do...

Please make sure that you are not in permanent browsing mode and that there are entries that exist older than 7 days.

¿ Don't understand your instruction Those explanations are not mentioning this 7 day setting What is "permanent browsing mode" ? By the way, I use the Mac (i e not PC)

Firefox doesn't have a limit for the history apart from a maximum number of pages that can be stored. See the read-only places.history.expiration.transient_current_max_pages pref on the about:config page.

So if you lose history beyond 7 days then make sure that you or someone else that use the computer aren't clearing the history. You can also check security and other cleanup software.
