In the latest 'firefox aurora' update, I now have an annoying little slot that pops up with all the usual sites I go to and it says: Search with Google.

Or more accurately, it says that after I start typing any word in the address bar. It's utterly annoying. I use firefox/aurora because I hate google chrome for doing the same crap. If I want to search with google, I will go to google.com like I always do. I don't need an obvious google sell-out option there just to annoy the hell out of me when I don't need it 98% of the time.

Now, is there anywhere in the about:config or any other way to remove that annoying nuisance?

Or if not, a way to downgrade to the previous version that does not have that addition. (I don't care about the 'security risk' so please don't give me that excuse)

I'd rather not have to go and use internet explorer if I don't have to, but if I'm stuck with that annoying thing, I'd rather use the very, very crappy browser than something that will consistently annoy me.

Nevermind, fixed it.

Or the update that just happened did the job.
