È da molto tempo che sto riscontrando un problema molto fastidioso con Disqus. In pratica, quando si vuole partecipare ad una discussione, occorre aspettare molti secondi prima che si abiliti il cursore nel campo di testo. È come se non ci fosse, sia per iniziare una nuova discussione, sia per rispondere ad una esistente.

webgl.enable-prototype-webgl2 is set to true webgl.force is set to true webgl.osmesalib is set to true

Wayland has not yet been implemented on Xubuntu, so I am still using X11.

I have the same issue even when running Firefox in safe mode.

After a few attempts, it seems the issue is related to the Nvidia drivers. I uninstalled the drivers using the command:

sudo apt purge nvidia-driver

rebooted the system (now running with the Nouveau drivers), and the sites with WebGL worked. Then I rebooted into maintenance mode and tried to install the previous drivers, nvidia-driver-535, but it seems they are no longer available in Xubuntu 24.10. In fact, nvidia-driver-560 is installed along with some files from nvidia-driver-535, so the problem reappeared.

I have an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 Super.

Any suggestions?

difficoltà intermittenti nella ricerca su browser con Google

Talvolta, anzi spesso, non riesco, quando la scheda è aperta , a cercare normalmente e velocemnte una voce sulla barra Google, né in quella principale né in quella piccola in alto a destra: apro altre schede o finestre e stesso risultato, finchè, pare quasi per caso, poi si apre all'improvviso: noto che il tasto virtuale "ricarica la pagina corrente" diventa quasi intermittente e l'attesa sembra infinita. Con MFirefox mi sono sempre trovato ben, prima degli aggiornamenti (che eseguo sempre) non mi era mai accadutp: ora spesso devo usare altri browsers quando ho fretta. Ho provato a mettere qualche impostazione consigliata, ma nulla da fare. Potete aiutarmi? Grazie
