I have updated to 4.0 and am not able to receive stock quotes on my MSN homepage. How can I fix this?
Ther area where the quotes used to appear is totally blank and the controls are not responsive.

Try running Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode. If it works correctly in that configuration, then one of your add-ons is the culprit.
The most likely candidate is Adblock Plus if you have it installed. If you do, click the arrow to the right of it and choose "Disable on this page" and then either hit F5, or click Reload to refresh the page.
I've uploaded a screenshot which illustrates what happens to the Global Market News ticker on another site. ABP treats it as an ad and blocks it as you can see in the lower half of the image.
Thanks, but Safe Mode did not make any difference. I have also noticed that if I open Safari at the same time the quotes will populate in both Safari and Firefox. Other wise I have blanks.
Could you please try clearing the cache as described in this doc: Websites look wrong or appear differently than they should
Cleared cache. Still nothing-
Try updating Flash. You're running the previous version to the current one at the moment. Download from: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
I truly appreciate your help, but unfortunately this did not solve problem either.
Try creating a New Profile There might be some settings in the existing one which is causing the problem.
Thanks, but I am giving up and changing homepage to iGoogle. This seems too complex and not work the hassle. Also, now that NYT is going to paywall I want a different news source. MSN is not that great anyway. Many, many thanks for your help and input!!!
You're welcome.
