Firefox doesn't really clear the cache
Just noticed an odd behavior in FF 68.0.2 Win. When I make corrections to a WordPress post and update, the changes are NOT reflected in FF even after I clear the cache; whereas they are reflected immediately in Chrome. Is there something I can do to fix this error? I much prefer FF. Gracias.

Hi runbei, after you cleared the cache, you reloaded the page (in the same tab) and Firefox somehow was still able to use a previously cached version? How about if you load the page in a new tab?
As a workaround until that is sorted out, you could try:
- Shift+click the reload button on the toolbar
- Ctrl+Shift+r to reload bypassing the cache
Do either of those work on your WordPress page?

Hi jscher2000. Unfortunately, the problem seems to have solved itself with time, thus I'm unable to test if your solutions would fix it. I'll keep an eye out and see if I can test the next time I update a post in WordPress. Meanwhile, thanks!
Here's hoping the problem stays gone. Please flag your last post as Solved Problem as this could help others with similar problems.
Sorry, not seeing any way to mark it solved. ??? Don't you just hate hipster design that hides essential information?
Hi lazlo.hollyfeld, you need to be logged in as the person who started the thread to have the link to mark a solution for that thread. Otherwise... chaos would ensue.
Thanks - done! And thanks for the help.
I couldn't find the right forum to discuss this. I have this website build on wordpress. I got a plugin update and after that the site was some sort of broken. It was working fine before but after the update, the site broke on firefox and was working fine on chrome and opera. I cleared the website cache, browser caches, and nothing happened. So, I just install the previous version of the plugin. So, what could possibly be the reason? anyone else experienced this before?
