When I am trying to find an email in Thunderbird, if I use the global search, it is very loose. for example if I search for "e-direct" it finds every email in my entire system that has the word "direct" in it. I get thousands of results. I tried putting quotation marks around "e-direct" to restrict the results but it had no affect. With such a sophisticated email program that touts itself on searchability, there must be something I'm missing. I need to search my emails for a specific term and only have results that have exactly what I typed in. how can i do this? thanks
