Is there a way to stop auto click, or fast click, or whatever it is? When the cursor hovers over a link it as if I click on it. Constantly having to go back to previous page, for example on YouTube. System is MacBook Pro with latest system update. Is it a MacBook system preference setting? I use the track pad exclusively. Have been a Firefox user from the beginning and will always be! Browser is up to date. Thanks for any help. Jim.

That is not built into Firefox. Are you using an add-on or a program/option on your system?

Thanks for the reply. I have Adblock Plus installed. System is latest for Mac OS. Is this a rare problem or fairly common? Is it inherent in the HTML now? Will try adjusting track pad sensitivity and maybe go to Apple forums. It is very annoying while browsing.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
