I have moved my Thunderbird data from drive C:\xxx\Thunderbird to N:\xxx\Thunderbird. The Thunderbird program remains on "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Thunderbird" How do I tell Thunderbird to find its data on the N: drive?

The message could not be sent because connecting to Outgoing server (SMTP) mail.twc.com failed. The server may be unavailable or is refusing SMTP connections. I'm on a new Windows 11 desktop with two monitors. Everything's been working just fine up until around 26th April (two weeks ago) when the native Thunderbird new mail notifications started appearing in my second monitor, rather than my main display. I had made no changes at all myself.

I've been through all the fixes suggested via Google (toggling the displays; checking Windows notification settings), but none of those fixes have made any difference. I switched to using Windows system notifications for a while, but I really don't like them.

Might this be something in a Thunderbird update itself? It just doesn't seem to be detecting the primary monitor at all. All my other app notifications continue to show on the primary display.

Has anyone else encountered this or have any other solutions I could try?

I am trying to re-install THUNDERBIRD I have done this several times before but Google is causing problems When I reenter my Name email address and password Thunderbird finds the email but then it takes me to google and I have to click allow but then it takes me back to the email install and then tells me it cannot find the Email address with the settings

I have 2 email addresses and it does the same with both so Thunderbird does not now work on a Computer that I have used Thunderbird for Years

Ever since one of the recent updates, my new email notification box is showing up on wrong monitor. I have a 2 monitor setup, the notification box is now showing up on the second monitor. I have tried turning the option off and back on but makes no difference.

For two days I'm having intermittent "hanging" when I'm typing a document or letter in Thunderbird. It has just dont that for the 2nd time in less than 10 minutes. Don't know what's happening but it's very frustrating. Am not having any other computer problems. Am running Windows 11 which is automatically updated by Windows. I think Thunderbird is the most current version too. Help please anyone! It does say "(Not Responding) at the very top of the page.

I'm running Thunderbird 140.5.0esr (32-bit) on Windows 10 Pro Build 19045. After the last few updates the columns in the email listings are changing widths from what I've set them, this seems to happen after I close then reopen Thunderbird; which I'm having to do more often these days to resolve weird calendar malfunctions. For instance, the data column would appear so narrow that only the month/day show with "..." at the end, when I know I've looked at this yesterday with the full view of the date and time showing. I've reviewed my options and I've set them individually, set them globally and it makes no difference. Of course I've rebooted, etc. I have over a hundred local folders and they all change differently, of course some look the same but others don't. Most have the same column headings selected but it doesn't seem to matter. Some have the "Correspondents" column selected but many don't.

This is very irritating and I'd like to know why Thunderbird is doing this, and more importantly, how can I prevent this behavior in the future. Thanks,

Starting yesterday for no apparent reason TB has been unable to connect to my email accounts. (IMAP or POP). These include Roadrunner, Gmail and Outlook.

Unable to open NEW Email on one click. i need to wait for 4-5 mins to open that email. even i am not able to open on one click which contains Barcode. which email contain barcode its also not reflecting in email and even i need to wait for 4-5 mins to open that email.

Hi. Since the last 2 updates, my Bell sympatico email through T-bird cannot SEND anymore emails (No errors are given but the email never comes through). I can receive emails without issue and when I use another tool (like Outlook or go directly through my browser, the sympatico emails come through) I attached the settings for the SMTP in a screenshot if that could help.

Any idea how to fix this?

I accidentally archived multiple messages today that I had deliberately kept in my inbox for attending to later. My archive folder is set to "All Mail" unfortunately. Can I sort the messages in All Mail by date archived? It will be a massive task for me to find them otherwise as the messages I want to retrieve are up to 2 years old

Not sure what has happened to my PC but lost my Thunderbird app.

Reinstalled but cannot get my emails working again. I only get emails up to 13th May 2024; I guess when TSO Hosting finished?

I am now on 123 Hosting.

I have a note that SERVER for both i.e. Incoming and outgoing is:-

Where and in what format do I enter theses server details.

I think I also need to get into cPanel but the URL I have will not work:-
