How do I move my bookmarks toolbar from the right side to the left side?

I just had to reinstall firefox today, and now my bookmarks sidebar is on the right of the browser window. I want it back on the left side where it belongs, but I can't find any instructions on how to do that. I really don't like this. Am I going to need to just switch browsers altogether, or can I get my old firefox setup back?

It's documented in "Customize sidebar and vertical tabs" support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/use-sidebar-access-tools-and-vertical-tabs#w_customize-sidebar-and-vertical-tabs — that shows where in the sidebar settings is the preference for left or right hand side.
