I have no idea what has changed and I do not have the experience to attempt to figure it out. I have had Dashlane for years and it works like a charm. Now, it will not auto fill certain sites and with other there is some sort of conflict which causes the sites to sit and spin but it will not auto-fill like usual.

All I have done is clear the cashe several times and then it started. Its a brand new machine so not sure how that plays into it but it was all of a sudden out of no where.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, Since the last update for Mozilla on the laptop (updated on 6/Oct/2025 - version 143.0.4 (64-bit)), all the shortcuts to websites in Firefox homepage I had pinned have disappeared. Also I can't add new shortcuts. I already have shortcuts enabled in Settings>Home>Firefox Home Content>Shortcuts.

Does anyone know how to solve this?

hi in a new win 10 instal most text incl Fire Fox text is made up of letters [font] that are made of thin and thick lines [in the same letter]

i dont know if its a strange font or another problem, i have copied all "font" setting from my other pc where i dont have the problem.

also i cant get spell check to work here dsespite turning it on

its very distracting, would be very gratefull for any suggestones if any one can

I'm not able to uninstall PWA apps created in Firefox 143.0.1 using Windows 11 usual uninstalling procedure. If i click "uninstall" in Windows Start Menu the app remains installed. PWA apps created with Firefox do not show on Windows 11 installed apps list so I cannot uninstall them. I haven't found any guide on the web on how to uninstall PWA created from Firefox. So, how can I effectively uninstall those PWA apps? Thank you in advance for your kind answer. Regards.

Hello. I have a question. When I scan a PDF file in Firefox, it opens in a new window. Why? I don't mind it opening in a new tab, so I would prefer it to open in a tab.

Every time I update my drivers for Nvidia it of course reloads the screens. This causes all the tabs in Firefox to become separated on the Windows 11 taskbar. In other words, it looks like I have a new firefox window open for each tab (which I'm assuming is how it works but it's hidden most of the time).

It's not a HUGE deal per se, but it is kind of annoying. I have to close then reopen Firefox.

Hello, I wanted to create a script that doesn't allow me to disable a certain extension. For that I thought to locate the file in which the states of extensions are put. I searched online, and the answer appears to be that such file is available in extensions folder in my profile. However, I am unable to find extensions folder under my profile.

Hi, I am having this problem where I am watching a video and there is a very annoying white line at the top of the screen, I have already tried the trick to turn off the titlebar but its still there. My version is updated all the way as well, what do I do now?

Does Firefox support webAuthn passkeys stored by the browser? I have an app that I am working on and I would like to be able to use this feature.

If Firefox cannot store passkeys can you explain why this has not been added?

Firefox used to close completely when I close the last tab. The last update broke that behavior. How can I get it back the way it was? This new behavior is sick!!!

I used to be able to clear all data with no problem, but now it's holding to Gmail login data (I think that's the problem, anyway). I clear all data after each browsing session and have been doing so for a long time, but it's not working anymore. But it is working on my husband's laptop and we're on the same version of Windows (11) and have the same settings. Can someone please assist in figuring out what's happening behind the scenes? I have 2 machines (Win10 and Win11) with FF 140.3.1esr (32-bit) installed which demonstrates the same failure when I enter one site's url:

PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR

Chrome at the same machines goes at this url w/o any failures. Any ideas what to change on "about:config" in FF to allow it opening this url w/o such error?

I have pop up blockers set to allow pop up blockers, but ev en though they are turned on. Firefox will not allow pop up windows in the learning management software (D2L brightspace) used at my university.

Two questions .......... You have my operating system as windows 10, it is windows 11 ??? ......... 2nd question ......... when I bring up Firefox it shows the weather for Chicago, I live in Minneapolis/St. Paul area, following your weather location change instruction, the weather still goes back to Chicago.

This has just started happening today. When I open FF my recent tabs do NOT open. I have the option selected in settings to open with recent tabs. In history I do not have the option to re-open recently closed tabs.

Any suggestions how to fix this defect?

Just noticed today my firefox search bar has changed. I'm on Ver 143.0.4

Before I could click on it and it would show my recent visited websites. Now it shows nothing unless I choose history from the down error however after I go to a website I no longer have the option to click in and see my history again. I need to open a new tab.

Any idea how I can change this back as It seems like a very bad feature.

Never had an issue printing google maps until a few weeks ago. Now the print function brings up the page header but no map. The map prints every time when I switch to Chrome. I opened the troubleshooting information page and clicked saved print settings in the printing section. That did not fix the issue.
